Each player controls one or more heroes – legendary characters brought back to life by powerful sorcery. Weakened by the resurrection, they grow stronger during their story-driven quests. Great campaign experience

Sword and sorcery is one of the best campaign style rpg games on the market. It gives you a ton of options with customizing your character with not only what alignment you want to play but what talents and powers. If you like smashing some monsters in the face and grabbing loot, you will love it. The game does have a ton of rules to remember but the rulebook is well written that you can easily look up any rule and comes with a great reference guide as well. Art work is great and the mini's are top notch, begging to be painted. Set up is a bit of pain with this one but if that doesn't bother you, you will enjoy this game!

Not for me

I find that the content is very thin compared to other games like Gloomhaven. Barely a few items in the market, just a handful of scenarios, and you have to buy so many expensive extensions to get somewhere with it. Very disappointed.
