Half-Pint Heroes: Happy Hour is the first ever legacy trick-taking game. Each player gets a sheet of stickers. Depending on their prediction, each player may place one sticker per round on one of their cards.

By putting more and more stickers on the cards, players not only change cards values but also some rules in the game. All stickers remain in effect until the end of the game, then they can be removed easily.

The expansion also adds material for two more players, so Half-Pint Heroes can now be played with up to nine players.

In the Half-Pint Pub, tempers are running hot. You can almost feel the tension in the air. Most patrons have already chosen sides, with very few even trying to stay out of the conflict. So far they're still just throwing insults instead of bar stools, but any moment things could break down into a full-out brawl...

Half-Pint Heroes is an easy-to-learn, but hard to master card game for 2-7 players. Players will play sets of cards from their hands each round to beat the sets of their opponents. You'll also need to be able to correctly assess the strength of your hand in order to predict how many sets you'll win each round. Once the predictions are revealed, players will also be able to bet against each other reaching their goal.

You'll need to stay alert and keep an eye your opponent's plays to avoid letting a brawl break out. If that happens, only one player will walk away a winner...

The game is played over 10 rounds. Points are scored for each winning card set, for correctly predicting your number of winning sets, and for correctly betting against other player's predictions. Additionally, bonus points are scored at the end of the game for the longest streak of correct predictions.

In Nord, each player leads a tribe. He orders workers and fishermen, performs attacks, unites settlements and provides his fighters with raw materials and food.

Nord: Jarl Expansion adds four special Jarls to the game: Ragnar, Eirik, Floki and Thorstein. These Jarls can substitute neutral jarls. They are placed during the setup before the players' jarls onto a central settlement.

For each of them exist a small overview tile and a szenario tile with the rules. There are 4 big wooden jarl meeples with different colors which can be substituted with some meeples of your own or by marking the standard neutral jarls.

Far to the north, off the northwest coast lies a cliff-ringed island:
Rugged mountain ridges, deep fjords, dark forests, surrounded by black waters.
Long ago, the Northmen lived here. As workers, they lumbered wood, hunted salmon,
and mined for ore. A hard life. As soon as they saw a weakness, though,
the tribe banded together, attacking the next settlement over. Some died,
the surviving warriors stand fast und challenged the old jarls.

In Nord, each player leads a clan, ordering workers and fishermen, performing attacks, uniting settlements, and providing their fighters with raw materials and food. Each player starts with one jarl and one warrior in a settlement, and a typical game turn takes up to three steps:

  1. Place New Workers: A player places up to three workers in one land area or up to two with boats on the sea.
  2. Attack a Settlement: If two enemy settlements are now connected by the new workers, a raid starts; the player's northmen in the connection attack, some die, some invade victorious, some return with the spoils of war.
  3. Score Points: If the dragon boat is filled with dead northmen, the next scoring is triggered. When resources are scored players get points for having men delivering wood and iron to their warriors. These are scored in the warriors scoring where some might not survive the winter when not enough food is provided. Alternatively a player might, if he feels strong enough, duel a foreign jarl to receive points of glory.

The game ends after the fourth scoring with a final scoring of treasures that the players hoarded throughout the game. The player with the most points wins.

"Gold, Gold, Gold – A Ton of Gold" – this was the Seattle headline heard 'round the world announcing the discovery of great stores of gold in the Klondike. This was the beginning of an exodus of would-be prospectors dreaming of a better life, a chance to escape the toil caused by the financial recessions and bank failures of the 1890s. Gold rush hysteria was pulsing through the veins of the country and tens of thousands were willing to risk it all for the chance to have it all.

Lost Valley is a game about the Klondike stampede that rushed North and about the grueling journey that these would-be prospectors undertook, traversing Steep Mountain passes with heavy loads through severe weather and with ever-dwindling resources.

During the course of the game, players must explore an ever-expanding lost valley in hopes of discovering a gold vein in a mountain, a virgin forest to provide timber, or a fishing spot along the river to provide food. The map will be different each time you play, so you never know what lurks around the corner. As you set out from the outfitters with everything you own strapped to your back, you must balance carefully the resources that you need. Of course you will need tools, dynamite and timber to extract mountain gold, but you'll need to make sure you have room for food, rifles and fishing poles to help you survive in the wilderness.

In addition to expanding the player count to 2-6 (from 3-4) and shortening the playing time, the second edition of Lost Valley rebalances the gold nugget distribution; provides a third path to victory; and (thanks to the included expansion modules) allows players to build canals, learn new abilities, and stake claims on fish traps, gold mines and mills.
