Onami is a strategic card game that is simple to learn, but difficult to master!

The concept is simple, both players draw 5 cards from a shuffled deck of 49 cards.

Each card in their hand will have 4 numbers on it, one number on each facing of the card. North, East, South, and West

The first player ( chosen randomly ) will then place a card some where on that 5 x 5 grid. Next they will place a double sided token on the card marking that they own it, with the color of their choosing facing up. They will then draw a card from the deck, signaling the end of their turn.

The next player will then go, doing the same thing.

Players may also rotate the card however they desire to get the optimal outcome.

If a player lays a card next to a card they do not own they can potentially take ownership of it and possibly cards next to that one and so forth!

Using the example below the second player, who is represented by the black token laid their card to the right of one of the first players cards, who is represented by the white token.

The card they laid down has a 7 on the west face of the card. The card to the left of it has a 0 on the east face of the card. Since 7 is greater than 0 the player represented by the black token can gain control of that card,

But wait it doesn't end there! There is also the possibility of chain reaction captures! Lets examine the sample below.

The card with the black token on it was just laid down by the second player, the number facing west is 3, the number on the card beside it that is owned by the first player has a number of 1 on the east side. Since 3 is greater than 1 it captures it.

But it doesn't end there! Since the difference between 3 and 1 is 2 the second player, represented by the black token card capture up to two cards total ( including the initial card captured ) if there are numbers on the next card that are greater than cards it is next too and that the second player doesn't already own. The ending result is as seen below.

Using this mechanic, even if you are woefully behind a single card can potentially bring you back in to the game!

There are many strategic ways to play Onami, but you must be careful to be both defensive and offensive

Game Play:
Win the game by competing against other players to be the best short order cook. The Short Order Hero wins the game by scoring the most Recipe points at the end of the game.

Five recipes have been ordered, the tickets are available for each player/cook to make. Each cook is dealt 7 Ingredient cards. Cooks in turn, lay down all of the required ingredients, thus making the recipe. In addition a cook can add spices and seasonings to their food to make it better, OR add hairs and cockroaches to their opponent's made recipes to make their food worse.

Cooks can play as many cards from their hand as they wish, but their turn ends once they draw a card from the Ingredients deck.

Each recipe is worth different point values, the added ingredients can either increase or decrease the total point value.

The cook with the highest total recipe value from all their made food is the Short Order Hero!

Sojourn is a single player game about time travel. Expansion Cthulhu: The Horror in Dunwich

The Elder Gods greet and invite you to participate in trying to save your wretched existence. The stars are aligning soon and only those who have dared to piece together the clues from the mythos even know what's coming. Do you and your fellow investigators have what it takes to save everything? I think not...

In Cthulhu: A Deck Building Game, you cooperatively work with fellow players (1-6 players) as Investigators to banish the Elder God and his minions by using Moxie (force of character, determination, or nerve) to reduce their health to zero. If you banish the Elder God before he reduces all of the Investigators health to zero you win the game.

There are two phases of the game, a planning and combat phase.

1) In the planning phase, the Investigators activate cards in their hand, research new cards at the Miskatonic University and then ready themselves for final preparation.

2) In the combat phase, the Elder God and his minions attack the Investigators' health and sanity. Investigators may go crazy or die out right, however, they have a chance to fight back. The Investigators use Moxie to push back the waves of the occult and supernatural.

Building your personal library by researching in the Miskatonic University makes you stronger and is your only hope against the Elders. Keep in mind, every bit of resource used to research is a bit not used against the Mythos. It is a balance you must solve to defeat the Elder Gods.
