The gods are divided. Rome has lost its way. We must restore its glory! With the favor of the gods, we shall lead our people to become the chosen tribe that will bring unity and strength to the empire once again.

Gods of Rome is a competitive area-control game that uses worker placement and card activation and lasts around 60 minutes. Players each choose a tribe at the start of the game and must lead that tribe to gain the gods' favor. On your turn, choose one of three actions:

Visit a God: Gain a god's blessing token, which allows you to take an enhanced action later in the game, and place one meeple in that god's color — which might also be a player's color — on the game board in a matching-colored location.
Activate a card: Place a token on an action space on your player board to add more figures to the board, move figures, and attack opponents. If you have a blessing token of the same color as the location where the action takes place, you can take an enhanced action.
Score: Advance on the victory track depending on which territories you control in regions that match the gods you have visited, then clear all action spaces and remove your tokens from the god spaces. Special objectives change the scoring of territories from game to game.

The favor track features three checkpoints, and as players gain favor, they advance on this track; if a player hits a checkpoint, all players score points based on their relative position on the favor track, then they advance to the checkpoint. After a player reaches the third checkpoint, players again score points, then whoever has the highest overall score wins.

Based on City of Spies: Estoril 1942, 2491 Planetship reimplements the mechanisms from a city of spies to a new fictional universe filled with rich lore and characters.

In this game, each player captains a "planetship" — a world-sized spacecraft that wonders through the galaxy — and you've received a distress signal from the Mothership Alpha, the first and largest planetship of all! Quickly making their way to the signal's co-ordinates, players are confronted with the horrible vision of a now-crumbling planetship on the brink of exploding. This is where the game begins.

Each player must send out their finest team of characters to land on various locations of the Mothership Alpha in order to rescue its most valuable crew. Location boards are randomly selected to be used in each round. Control of these will be fought over in each of the four rounds of the game. Players begin the game with the same hand of characters (tiles) and take turns placing these tiles in the open spaces of the various locations on the board. At the end of each round, players check each location to see which player gains the reward for that location.

At the end of the fourth round, players total the points of their characters, plus any special game objectives they have completed. Whoever has the most points wins.

Estoril is small town near Lisbon, Portugal. Having a casino, beach and wonderful weather, the region was a center of diplomacy -- and spying -- during World War II.

In City Of Spies: Estoril 1942, players are competing against each other to form the most powerful and influential secret organization of spies. Based on historical facts, the game takes place on famous locations in Estoril.

Six locations are randomly selected to be used for the first round, such as casinos, hotels, beaches, etc. Control of these will be fought over in each of the four rounds of the game. Special Agents are then placed on each location as the reward for who have the most influence on that location.

Players begin the game with the same hand of Agents (tiles) and will take turns placing these tiles in the open spaces of the various locations on the board. At the end of each round players check each location to see which player gains the reward for that location.
