Description

Four acrylic overlays for the Azul Summer Pavilion player boards and one overlay for the Scoring board. 

The overlays are made of clear acrylic with 1.5 mm thickness and it is very light. The weight of one overlay is only 70 g (0.15 lb).

It is possible to store the overlays with the original insert but the box lid does not close flush by 7 mm.

Decent but could be better

I like these overlays cause they help improve the gaming experience. But boy was it hard to peel that plastic blue film off. You will need to use a kitchen table knife to remove the plastic blue film. And be prepared for it to take you quite some time. I spent hours removing the film for this game and another Azul game. Another issue is the acrylic is so thin that if you press or hold the overlay too hard by accident, it will snap. So be very careful when handling them. I wish it had pull tabs to make it easier to remove the plastic blue film. I also wish that the acrylic overlay could lock into place so that it says attached to the player board on its own.
