Less is a simple strategy board game for two or four players. It's a simple game which can be set up in seconds and the rules can be learned in less than a minute. Just take the nine board pieces, place the game pieces and you’re ready to go! The goal is to move your four pieces to the opponents starting corner before he moves them to yours.

The board is set up randomly at the beginning of every game and there are over 100,000 combinations to try out. Less can also quickly be expanded into a four-player game by adding another set of tiles to the deck. This way you have to work together with your partner to bring both of your pieces to the other side before the other pair of players does the same.

A great game but misleading...

I own this game and really enjoy it. A great game to pull out anywhere, easy to explain, and each game/round is 5-10 minutes. Game comes with 12 tiles and 9 go out each game, with each tile able to be rotated.. basically the playing "board" has TONS of combinations so lots of replayability. Components are great quality, thick tiles the same as high-quality coasters and nice wooden pieces. BE WARNED: This game is not like chess and more like checkers. The photo shows 16 tiles but the same only comes with 12. The description says 4 players but that is ONLY possible with TWO COPIES of the game where you would use some of those tiles and the pieces. The wooden pieces are the tall ones you see and NOT the short ones. TO END: This is a great game and worth having if you like abstract strategy, no-luck, quick play, take anywhere games.
