Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle Cooperative Deck-Building Game

Got this to the table with a HP fan, but not a board game fan and they loved it. As an experienced gamer myself I found this to be a solid deck builder that develops well. We got through the first 4 "years" in our first session. Highly recommend.

This has been my gaming group's go to game for months. It's great for introducing deck building to beginners, with complex components split up into the 7 years of Hogwarts. Each year adds something new so no one is overwhelmed. We have since moved on to the expansions and even when we lose, we always want to play again and figure out the strategy to win. It also has high replay ability since the order and combination of villains as well as the cards you add to your deck is always different and changing, even more so with the expansions since they added ways to make your own adventures and challenges.

I bought this for my wife and we've had a blast each time we've played. Easy to learn but there's enough depth in that box to sink your teeth into.

I introduced deck building games to my girlfriend with this game. She's a huge Harry Potter fan. The component quality is great, artwork fantastic, and it has a great learning curve. there's 7 "games" in the box (all tagged 1 to 7) whenever you beat one game, you add more cards and some new components that are in the next game box for your next game. When you're at stage "7", you have a great game, and you can still play over and over. if it's not enough for you and you need a bigger challenge (game 7 is pretty intense tho) there's an expension. I recommend to play this game with 4 players.Great coop game. Enjoy!
